Ana was born in Venezuela, where she got a psychology degree in 2017. She has been living in Cleveland, Ohio, for four years. In 2020, Ana studied English as a second language at Cuyahoga Community College. She assists attorneys and paralegals.

Anirudh is a paralegal working in our Cleveland office. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies. He speaks English, Spanish, and Tamil.

Brian Marek is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University where he obtained a BA in philosophy. Joining the Cleveland Immigration Law Office in 2002, he is employed as a paralegal. He works on non-immigrant petitions and visas such as H-1B and B-1/B-2 extensions. Brian also prepares and files N-400’s, US Passport applications, Permanent labor certifications, J-1 Waivers, I-601 Waivers, and I-212 Applications.

Cecilia Wong holds an MBA, and is in the accounting department in our Cleveland Immigration Law office.

Celene Acuna works as a legal assistant in our Raleigh office. Celene is bilingual in Spanish.

Claudia works in our Columbus, Ohio, Immigration Law office. As a bilingual paralegal (ES/EN), she works closely with our attorneys preparing different applications and petitions and helps Ms. Wong with clients during their consultation. Claudia graduated from CENHIES Law School in Mexico and practiced law in several jobs in Mexico such as Public Ministry Agent at the Attorney General Office of the Hidalgo State, she also worked as Litigation Attorney in agrarian law, and she worked for the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Hidalgo.

Born in Venezuela, Claudia joins our Cleveland, Ohio, intake department. Claudia is bilingual in Spanish and English.

A law clerk in the Cleveland, Ohio, office, Edith is a second year law student at the CWRU School of Law. Edith started law school at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University. With a BA in Criminal Justice from The Ohio State University, Edith has worked at the US Department of Justice (as Office of International Affairs Intern); the US Department of Transportation (both as an intern, and most recently as a Summer Law Clerk); is a licensed real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty, in Austin, Texas; was a Junior Immigration Paralegal at K&L Gates LLP in Austin, Texas; and was a Legal Assistant at RAICES (the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services), in Austin, Texas.

Felipe Brown is a graduate of UFRN- Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in law, and practiced law for more than 10 years. He graduated in International Business from IFRN – Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte. He is currently enrolled at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, studying for his Master of Laws (LLM). Besides English, Felipe speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

Florence Vigneau is a paralegal in our Atlanta, Georgia, Immigration Law office with 24 years’ experience with the firm. She has a Masters in Law, Business, and International Affairs from Toulouse, France, and is fluent in French, Spanish, and English.

Gargi is a Paralegal in our New York immigration Law office. Gargi is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, and conversational in Punjabi. She has a background in financial software analysis.

Gordon Landefeld directs the firm’s marketing, IT, and security, and responds to online customer requests through social media, and complaints as ombudsman. He writes press releases and blogs; negotiates and places print, online, and radio ads; coordinates IT support; and oversees SEO, reputation management, and online services for the firm. Gordon works out of our Cleveland, Ohio, Immigration Law office.

A paralegal in the Cleveland, Ohio, office, Hussain Shah graduated in 2024 from the Pennsylvania State University with an LLM, where he served as a Judge in the Penn State Law Student Board Association, presiding over cases involving alleged honor code violations. In 2021, Hussain Shah completed his LLB in law at the University of London. After obtaining his LLB, Hussain Shah worked at the Law Office of Malik Waheed Anjum Adv, Supreme Court of Pakistan; the Kazmi Law Chamber; and the Law Office of Muhammad Abid Raja, Attorney General Office, Pakistan. Hussain Shah is a registered attorney with the Punjab Bar Council, the Lahore High Court, Pakistan, and holds a lifetime membership certification from the Punjab Bar Council, Lahore High Court, Pakistan.

Fluent in Polish and English, Ilona works in our accounts receivables and billing department for all of our offices. She also performs facility management duties in the Cleveland, Ohio, Immigration Law office. She studied accounting at Cuyahoga Community College and has been working for our firm for 20 years. Jay Bhatt is our IT Specialist, he is from Ahmedabad, India and has a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University and a Master’s in Information Systems from Cleveland State University. Jay speaks Gujarati, Hindi and English.

An immigration legal assistant in Chicago Illinois since 2016, Jeremy aided clients in Marriage and Employment Green Card Applications, Naturalization, Removing Conditions, DACA, and Waivers for clients from South Korea, China, Russia, Mexico, Bulgaria, Thailand, Indonesia. ·Jeremy gathered evidence, researched new immigration laws and evidence for Waiver cases, and prepped clients for interviews.

Our CFO, Joyce, has practiced public accounting in the Cleveland, Ohio, Immigration Law office area for 40 years, specializing in professional and high net worth individuals. Joyce has been the CPA for Margaret W. Wong & Associates LLC, since its inception, watching and aiding the firm in its growth and expansion and maintained a deep relationship with Ms. Wong and her entire family.

Kathy is our HR and General Manager. With bachelor’s degrees in business administration and human resources from David N. Myers College, Kathy achieved her MBA at Lake Erie College. Kathy has two dogs and enjoys reading.

A retired Ph.D. in nuclear physics, Michael works in our Cleveland, Ohio, Immigration Law office. Michael is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

Michael is our community liaison. He attends and writes about various ethnic festivals and chambers of commerce and community events in Northeast Ohio for our Instagram and Facebook blogs. Michael works near our Cleveland, Ohio, Immigration Law Office.

Olivia is a paralegal working at the Cleveland office. She graduated from Otterbein University with a BA in Spanish and Political Science and taught English in Columbus OH and Shanghai, China. She studied Spanish at Universidad Veritas in Costa Rica and is fluent in Spanish and English.

A writer and researcher for the law firm, Dr. Li is also an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, where she directs research laboratories investigating the mechanisms responsible for myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury and developing the cardioprotective strategies in the fields of gene and cell therapy.
