USCIS will begin accepting expanded DACA applications on February 18
Late last year, President Obama announced a series of Executive Actions he was taking to improve the country's immigration system in the face of congressional inaction. One part of the Executive Actions was the expansion of DACA. The Obama administration removed the upper age limit and extended the period of work authorization from two years to three. The various actions will be implemented throughout 2015. The DACA expansion will take place first and USCIS will begin accepting applications on February 18.
