Public Support for Immigration Reform Is Growing
A recent survey from the Pew Research Center finds that 72% of Americans say that undocumented immigrants should be allowed to stay in the United States legally, with 42% saying they should be permitted to apply for citizenship and 26% saying that they should only be granted green cards. 80% of Democrats and 56% of Republicans agreed that undocumented immigrants should be able to stay in the country legally.
