Scott Bratton Discusses How Child Status Protection Act Protects Immigrant Children at National AILA Conference June 20, 2015
A recent change to the AILA National Conference this week in Washington, D.C., is that our Scott Bratton, whose practice includes removal defense, political asylum, federal litigation, consular processing, criminal law, and assistance in business and family based visas; will be speaking on Saturday June 20, 2015. The 2015 AILA National Conference is the largest immigration law conference in the United States with over 2,000 people expected to attend.
Scott's topic is the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA). He will be discussing how CSPA benefits immediate relatives, derivatives of preference visas, and refugees/asylees.
Bratton characterizes the CSPA as one of the more critical aspects of US Immigration Law. "There are so many ways to protect children under US Immigration Law, it's hard to know everything. But the attorney who's paying attention to the Child Status Protection Act in many cases can find a way."
