Fundraising for Judge Donnelly
Our last event on Thursday, March 1st, was a stop-off at a fundraiser for Cuyahoga Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Donnelly who is now a candidate for Ohio Supreme Court Justice and is supported by Ms. Margaret W. Wong.
We, ourselves, were quite impressed by Judge Donnelly's performance when he took part in a City Club panel regarding plea bargaining in September, 2017.
The fundraiser took place at "Nighttown" on Cedar Road and, in spite of threatening weather, was exceedingly well-attended. We liked listening to the music of the "Portersharks" who we have seen play at both the East Side and West Side Irish American Clubs and talking to people like Judge Alison L. Floyd of Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court who told us that "Margaret W. Wong & Associates" has always been very responsive when she has called us with questions pertaining to immigration regarding the people who appear before her.
We also visited for a while with Ms. Carol Cole who used to work as an investigative probation officer and has thus known Judge Donnelly for many years. She enjoys watching him play his guitar and sing with his band, "Faith and Whiskey" but likes him all the more because she believes him to be very fair and committed to finding the best solution for both the defendant and the victim.
