An Evening with Juvenile Court Judicial Candidate Jennifer O’Malley

Our second event for Thursday, July 26 took us to The Harp on Detroit Road in Cleveland where we attended a fundraiser for Ms. Jennifer O’Malley, judicial candidate for Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas –┬áJuvenile Division. We had met Ms. O’Malley at the C.A.M.E.O. picnic the previous Sunday and were very impressed by her.

Since 2010 Ms. O’Malley has been an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Cuyahoga County and currently works in the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, which deals with online sexual exploitation of children and child-victim assault cases where technology was used to assist in preying on the victim, and human trafficking cases.

While we were at the fundraiser, we spoke to Mr. Mark Schneider, Assistant Law Director for Parma Heights as well as a former Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Cuyahoga County himself, and other court-related personnel who described the duties of being a judge in the juvenile division and assured us that Ms. O’Malley has the qualifications and experience to fulfill them.
