Zairel Ruiz is an immigration attorney specializing in all aspects of family-based immigration including removal and deportation defense, asylum, unlawful presence waivers, and other matters before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) as well as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Prior to practicing Immigration, she worked on matters before the Social Security Administration specializing in Social Security Disability appeals. During law school she clerked with the Los Angeles Public Defender’s office as well as Neighborhood Legal Services’ self-help center assisting members of the community with eviction defense.
Ms. Ruiz obtained her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and completed her undergraduate work at the University of California at Berkeley. She is admitted to practice in California and works at the firm’s Los Angeles office.
