Margaret W. Wong & Associates Sponsors the 4th Annual Dominican Cultural Festival of Cleveland

Margaret W. Wong & Associates LLC was proud to be a sponsor of the 4th Annual Dominican Cultural Festival of Cleveland, held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Estabrook Recreation Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

The annual celebration brought the community together to enjoy Dominican culture through music, traditional dances, delicious food, local vendors, and family-friendly activities. The event provided an opportunity for Cleveland residents and visitors to experience and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Dominican Republic.

The festival was presented by the Dominican Club of Cleveland, an organization committed to fostering “a deeper understanding and appreciation of Dominican culture among Dominican-Americans and the broader community.” Learn more about the organization at Dominican Club of Cleveland.

During the festival, our team also had the opportunity to visit with Dr. Shoghi M. McLean, MD, of MetroHealth. Dr. McLean first came to Cleveland in 1998 to complete his residency at Fairview Hospital. He later decided to immigrate to the United States and is now a U.S. citizen and a board member of the Dominican Club of Cleveland. He is proud of both his Dominican heritage and his life as an American.

The August heat, with temperatures reaching more than 90 degrees, made the day particularly challenging. Unfortunately, we could not stay as long as we would have liked. We especially admired the musicians and dancers who continued to perform with energy and enthusiasm despite the heat.

The Dominican Cultural Festival of Cleveland was a wonderful celebration of culture, community, and heritage. Margaret W. Wong & Associates LLC was honored to support this event and join Cleveland’s Dominican community in celebrating its traditions and contributions.
