Lebanese Food and Music Festival Celebrates Lebanese Culture in Parma
A Weekend of Lebanese Food, Music, and Community
Over the weekend of June 27–28, the 12th Annual Lebanese Food and Music Festival took place at St. Sava Picnic Grove on West Ridgewood Drive in Parma.
The festival welcomed visitors from across Northeast Ohio for a weekend filled with authentic Lebanese food, live entertainment, cultural traditions, and family-friendly activities. Each year, the event celebrates the rich heritage and lasting contributions of the Lebanese American community.

Margaret W. Wong & Associates LLC proudly sponsored this year’s festival because we admire the mission of the Northern Ohio Lebanese American Association (NOLAA).
NOLAA works to preserve, enrich, and promote Lebanese culture, heritage, and traditions through educational, cultural, humanitarian, and community programs. The annual festival is one of the organization’s signature events and brings people together to celebrate Lebanon’s history and traditions.
Sharing Lebanese Heritage with Northeast Ohio
While attending the festival, we spoke with our friend Rick Ganim, a member of the NOLAA Board of Directors.
Mr. Ganim explained that the festival welcomes everyone. It is not only for people who immigrated to the United States from Lebanon or for Lebanese Americans. It is also an opportunity for all Northeast Ohio residents to experience and appreciate Lebanese culture.
He emphasized that the festival’s goal is to share the beauty of Lebanon’s traditions, hospitality, music, cuisine, and heritage with the broader community.
A Celebration That Brings Communities Together
When we visited on Saturday, we found a large and diverse crowd enjoying the festivities. Families, friends, and visitors of many backgrounds gathered to enjoy authentic Lebanese cuisine, cultural performances, and live music in a welcoming atmosphere.
Events like the Lebanese Food and Music Festival strengthen community connections while celebrating the cultural diversity that makes Northeast Ohio such a vibrant place to live. They also highlight the important contributions that Lebanese immigrants and Lebanese Americans have made to the region for generations.
The annual festival continues to serve as both a cultural celebration and an opportunity for people of every background to learn more about Lebanon’s rich history, traditions, and enduring spirit.
