Military Parole in Place Leads to Green Card Approval for Client From India.
From Military Parole in Place to Green Card Approval: A Life-Changing Immigration Success Story
Our office represented a client from India in his I-485 Adjustment of Status case in the United States.
Mr. P remained in the U.S. after our office secured approval of his Military Parole in Place application. He qualified through his son’s service in the U.S. military. The approved application allowed him to receive parole in place and made him eligible to apply for a Green Card without leaving the country.
We filed his I-485 application with USCIS on May 12, 2025. His U.S. citizen son served as the I-130 petitioner throughout the process.
On May 19, 2026, USCIS approved the case. The approval marked a major milestone in a long-running immigration matter. Earlier in the process, the client had also appeared in Immigration Court before the court dismissed his case.
Today, he is a lawful permanent resident and a proud Green Card holder. He will become eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship in five years.
