Celebrating Our Team and Empowering Our Community.
A Meaningful Day at Margaret W. Wong & Associates
Employee Appreciation Day and a Community “Know Your Rights” Meeting
Celebrating Our Team
Friday, March 6th was a special day for all of us at Margaret W. Wong & Associates. We celebrated Employee Appreciation Day and recognized the dedication, hard work, and passion of our team across all six offices.
Our General Manager, Kathryn Steinfurth, organized a wonderful celebration to thank our employees for everything they do for our clients and our community. The offices were filled with smiles, laughter, pizza, and plenty of hugs. It was a moment for everyone to pause from the busy workday and celebrate one another.
The celebration also included our offices outside Cleveland. Although we work in different locations, we remain one united team. Employees were encouraged to send notes to their colleagues. These messages shared appreciation, friendship, and encouragement.
These small gestures reflect the culture we proudly build at Margaret W. Wong & Associates.
A Workplace Built on Diversity and Purpose

Our office has always been more than just a workplace. People from many countries and cultures come together here with a shared purpose. Our mission is to serve and support immigrant communities.
This diversity is one of our greatest strengths. It helps create a workplace that truly feels like a family.
Supporting the Community Through Education:

While we celebrated our team internally, we also continued our commitment to the community.
Earlier that day, our office participated in an important “Know Your Rights” meeting hosted by Midtown Cleveland Inc. The event brought together local business owners and community leaders. Representatives from government agencies, schools, churches, and nonprofit organizations also attended.
The goal of the meeting was to discuss ways to better support and protect immigrant communities.
Sharing Important Legal Information:

Attorney Miriam Kobella and Marketing Manager Matheus Areas represented our office at the event. During the meeting, Attorney Kobella spoke about the importance of understanding individual rights.
She also shared guidance on what individuals should do if they encounter immigration enforcement officers, including ICE.
Educating communities about their rights is a key part of our mission. When people have access to reliable information, they feel more prepared and confident during difficult situations.
Strong Community Partnerships
Events like this highlight the strong partnerships within the Cleveland community. Businesses, organizations, and community leaders all play an important role.
When people work together with a shared goal of protecting and supporting others, real progress becomes possible.
A Day That Reflects Our Mission
It was truly a meaningful day for our firm. We celebrated the people who make our work possible while continuing to serve the community that inspires us.
At Margaret W. Wong & Associates, we remain committed to standing alongside immigrants and advocating for their rights. We are proud to continue the work that has defined our firm since its founding in 1977.
