CNN Interview: Margaret Wong Discusses Immigration Challenges
Our CEO Margaret W. Wong Featured In A CNN Interview
We are proud to share that our CEO and immigration attorney, Margaret W. Wong, joined CNN for an important CNN interview on today’s immigration challenges.
In this interview, Margaret described the fear and uncertainty immigrant families face as enforcement actions increase nationwide. She explained how new policies put people at risk during daily routines—driving, going to court, or even reporting a crime.
She also warned about ICE officers acting without clear identification, untrained agents conducting welfare checks on children, and the shift of immigration oversight from the Department of Justice to Homeland Security. This change has altered the mission of immigration enforcement.
When asked about efforts to end birthright citizenship, Margaret reaffirmed the strength of the 14th Amendment. She stressed that American citizenship, with its protections and rights, remains a cornerstone of the Constitution.
Her words show her decades of experience and her deep commitment to immigrant communities. We thank CNN for the opportunity to share her insights at such a critical time.
