Mrs. Villanueva’s Fight for Safety in the U.S.

Both originally from Honduras, Mrs. Villanueva and her daughter entered the United States in 2022 to escape the widespread violence that continues to impact their country. As a survivor of extortion and domestic abuse, Mrs. Villanueva sought refuge and a safer future for herself and her child—an early step in their Honduras Asylum Success story.

Shortly after their arrival, they sought legal advice from immigration attorneys. Ultimately, it was Margaret Wong and Associates that they went to for guidance and support in navigating the complex immigration process. Mrs. Villanueva now has a pending case before an immigration court.
