Margaret W. Wong & Associates Celebrates Pride in the CLE 2025
Margaret W. Wong & Associates LLC proudly went all out for Pride in the CLE 2025, held on Saturday, June 7th in downtown Cleveland. This year, we were honored to serve as a “Love is Love” sponsor, further solidifying our commitment as allies to the LGBTQ+ community both in Northeast Ohio and across the United States.
Thanks to the enthusiastic leadership of Mr. Matt Areas, several members of our team proudly marched in the Pride Parade, waving flags and carrying banners that reflected our firm’s deep support for equity, inclusion, and love for all.
One of the main reasons we participated so actively this year was inspired by a statement in the Pride Guide:
“This day not only celebrates our LGBTQ+ community but also advocates for the equitable and just treatment for ALL in our community.”
At the Pride Fest, our table was a huge success — easily one of the best event days we’ve had in years. We handed out nine full bags of clementines and gave away every English-language copy of Ms. Margaret W. Wong’s book, The Immigrant’s Way, that we brought — and we brought quite a few!
Some especially memorable interactions included meeting a new U.S. citizen originally from Saudi Arabia, and another attendee from New Zealand who is currently in the process of naturalization. Both were thrilled to receive a copy of the book and expressed admiration for the work our office does to support immigrants and newcomers.
Throughout the day, we heard a phrase more than once that truly warmed our hearts:
“I personally don’t need Margaret Wong’s help, but I know people who might — I’ll be sure to pass along her information.”
We are deeply grateful for the love, support, and conversations we shared at Pride in the CLE. We remain committed to standing with and advocating for ALL communities, and we look forward to continuing to be a resource and a voice for justice and inclusion.
Happy Pride!
