CentroVilla25 Grand Opening: A Landmark Celebration for Cleveland’s Latino Community
At 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30th, the long-anticipated Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for CentroVilla25—billed as “Cleveland’s Premier Latino Market & Food Hall”—took place at its new home at 3140 West 25th Street in the heart of the city.
The official declaration stated in part:
“It is with great excitement that we announce the long-awaited Grand Opening of CentroVilla25—a hallmark of innovation and cultural dedication to Cleveland, Ohio, and the Northeast Ohio region. This project stands as a testament to the enduring legacy and vibrant presence of the Latino community.”
The event was a celebration of vision, resilience, and community pride. Nearly 20 local dignitaries took the podium to mark the occasion, each offering resounding praise to Jenice Contreras, President and CEO of the Northeast Ohio Hispanic Center for Economic Development. Ms. Contreras has been the driving force behind CentroVilla25, dedicating nearly a decade of tireless work to bring this transformative project to life.
