Celebrating National Volunteer Month – Honoring Our Team’s Community Champions
April was National Volunteer Month, and we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible members of our team who go above and beyond to support their communities.
We’ve decided to personally reach out and acknowledge those whose dedication, compassion, and service make a real difference in the lives of others. Whether it’s mentoring, organizing events, offering pro bono work, or simply showing up for those in need—your efforts embody the spirit of volunteerism and inspire us all.
Our HR team member, Kathy, quietly makes a big impact by collecting and donating cans to the local fire department. These are recycled to raise funds for burn victims—turning everyday items into life-changing support. She also helps transporting homeless pets, reaching new homes or rescue organizations that offer them a second chance at life. Our Paralegal Purva is passionate about giving back through volunteer service that supports both people and animals.
Each summer, Rosa Cintron participates at her Church’s Kids Bible Summer School, dedicating a full week to teaching and engaging children in creative, faith-filled activities.
“Whether through teaching, organizing, or simply showing up with love and service, my involvement in church has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life.” (Rosa Cintron).

Many members of our team dedicate their time, energy, and talents to causes they care deeply about — making a difference in communities near and far.
Our Marketing Director and Marketing Manager are both active volunteers at the Presbyterian Church. While Matt supports the church’s outreach through his video production skills, Gordon serves in a leadership role as Vice Moderator of the Presbytery of the Western Reserve, helping guide and support congregations across the region.
In North Carolina, Attorney and Partner Allison Chan is an advocate for both animals and the Asian American community. She serves on the Board of the Animal Protection Society of Durham, working to ensure better lives for vulnerable animals. Allison also champions civic engagement and equity as a Board Member of North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT).
Meanwhile, Katrina Deal McCall, the visionary founder of Walk and Talk About It Ministry, is passionately committed to helping individuals break free from domestic violence. Her work offers hope, healing, and practical support to both women and men seeking a new path toward safety and renewal.
Each of these efforts reflects the heart of our team — compassionate, driven, and deeply rooted in community.

Beyond the Office: Our Team’s Commitment to Community
At our firm, community service is more than a value — it’s a way of life. Many of our team members generously volunteer their time and talents to causes that uplift individuals, strengthen families, and build a more just and compassionate world.
In our Atlanta office, Hee is a quiet force of kindness and support. She dedicates her time to helping single mothers, offering meals, transportation, English translation, and, most importantly, a sense of care and connection.
Francis, is deeply involved in empowering youth through education. He volunteers with Minds Matter Cleveland, helping high school students navigate the college application process and build the confidence and skills to succeed in higher education. He also participates in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs Program, visiting local high schools to teach students about the U.S. Constitution, their rights, responsibilities, and the realities of civic life.
Whether it’s mentoring students, empowering survivors, caring for animals, or building stronger communities of faith and support, our team is proud to serve with purpose and heart — both inside and outside the office.
