Immigration Support Services at Ohio Cultural Event
On Saturday, December 18th, we had a lot to do because it was the weekend before Christmas. However, we still managed to attend the annual Christmas party luncheon of the American Nationalities Movement of Ohio, for which [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″] was a silver sponsor. This festive event took place at the Holy Spirit Party Center on West 54th Street in Parma and celebrated cultural unity and community leadership.
Honoring Freedom Award Winners
Although we didn’t stay for the entire party, we congratulated two of the Freedom Award winners: Ohio State Senator Kenny Yuko (Democrat-District 25) and Mr. Paul Burik, who accepted on behalf of Sokol Greater Cleveland. Unfortunately, the third winner, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, was not present during our visit, but we extend our best wishes to him
Connecting with Friends and Leaders
To our delight, we encountered our good friend Ms. Laurel Tombazzi, who graciously introduced us to the Right Reverend Dr. Csaba Krasznai of the First Hungarian Reformed Church in Walton Hills. Dr. Krasznai and his wife, Beata, immigrated to the United States years ago from Hungary. They kindly promised to invite us to their church’s anniversary celebration planned for August 2022.
In addition, we were greeted by Ms. Erika Puussaar, Mr. Howie Wise, and Mr. James Craciun, who gave both the invocation and benediction that day. These interactions reminded us of the diverse immigrant communities that enrich our region.
