Immigrant Community Support in Cleveland’s Inclusive Business Network
On Tuesday evening, November 10th, we attended an open house for Juvly Aesthetics, a new Plexus member and allied business. The event highlighted the value of immigrant community support within Cleveland’s growing network of inclusive and community‑minded businesses.
Juvly Aesthetics, located on West 6th Street, specializes in non‑surgical cosmetic procedures. These treatments are minimally invasive and do not require surgical incisions. The practice has quickly become a welcoming space for clients seeking accessible and modern aesthetic care.
Inclusive Business Partnerships and Community Connections
During the open house, we introduced ourselves to the Juvly team, which included Dr. Justin Harper, Ms. Jessica Harper, his physician’s assistant, and Mr. Kevin Susman, the legal advisor. Ms. Harper shared that her parents immigrated to the United States from Syria, adding a meaningful connection to the broader theme of immigrant community support.
The event also gave us the chance to reconnect with several friends from Plexus, the LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce. Their ribbon‑cutting ceremony celebrated Juvly’s commitment to inclusive business practices and its role as a supportive partner within the local community.
Strengthening Cleveland’s Diverse Business Landscape
The open house reflected the growing number of businesses that value diversity, collaboration, and community engagement. Events like this help strengthen relationships among local organizations and highlight the importance of supporting immigrant‑owned and immigrant‑connected businesses. These partnerships contribute to a more welcoming and vibrant economic landscape in Cleveland.
Moreover, gatherings like this encourage dialogue about shared values, professional growth, and community well‑being. They also demonstrate how inclusive business networks can uplift individuals from many backgrounds, including those with immigrant roots. This work reinforces the ongoing need for immigrant community support across the region.
