Fit from Faith Cleveland Luncheon Highlights

Fit from Faith Cleveland: The First Friday Club Luncheon

On Thursday, January 6th, we attended the First Friday Club of Cleveland luncheon featuring Ms. Lindsay Fullerton, Founder and Coach of Fit from Faith Cleveland. Her organization educates Catholics on healthy and balanced living through a Christ-centered approach.

As the website explains, “Fit from Faith is a Christ-centered health and wellness organization designed to inspire Catholic seminarians, priests, religious, and laity to achieve personal transformations in mind, body, and spirit. Our wellness coaching focuses on practical application and an integrated approach to living out a healthy lifestyle as a Catholic.”

Connecting Faith and Health

During lunch, we shared a table with Mr. Miguel Chavez, Director of the Office of Missionary Discipleship at the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. When he learned that we worked with Ms. [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″], he shared a fascinating story about his father’s immigration journey. His father came to the United States from Mexico in 1979 seeking a better life. After years of working as a farm laborer, he settled in Alliance, Ohio, helped establish several successful Hispanic restaurants, and became a U.S. citizen in 1994.

Exploring New Opportunities

Later, we met Ms. Fullerton and asked about introducing Fit from Faith Cleveland to immigrant communities. She graciously said it was a great idea and welcomed input on how to make it happen. Her openness reflects the organization’s mission to integrate faith and wellness for all. Events like this luncheon remind us of the importance of community, health, and inclusion.
