Our wonderful support staff at Margaret W. Wong & Assoc. Co., LPA assist our attorneys with helping people with all kinds of immigration matters, from employment visas to asylum, throughout the United States. You will come in contact with our courteous staff when you call or visit our offices.
Li Cao is located at the reception area and answers phones, completes paperwork for client intake and is fluent in Chinese and English.
Brittany Castle graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University, with a B.A. in International Studies and a B.A. in Sociology. As a paralegal, she assists our attorneys with preparation of applications for asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, deferred action for childhood arrivals, non-immigrant visas, and petitions for alien relatives, among others.
Yolanda Chen assists our Asian clients and utilizes her economics and financial knowledge to set forth the requirements and guidelines for evaluating investors in the EB-5 employment creation immigrant visa category. She also deals with employment-based and family-based cases. She has a Master’s Degree in Economics from SUNY Buffalo.
Sara Elaqad is a student at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University, with a B.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy and a B.A. in French. Sara has been a law clerk in the firm since May 2011 and will join the team of attorneys after bar passage. Sara performs legal research, prepares memoranda, prepares all kinds of immigration petitions, drafts briefs, motions to reopen, motions to suppress, and motions to terminate, and is the head of our deferred action for DREAM Act candidates division.
Ilona Fleszar works in our accounts receivable and billing department.
Michael Fungsang works in our Cleveland and NY offices and is fluent in Chinese and English.
Joyce Graham has practiced public accounting in the Cleveland, OH area for 30 years, specializing in professional and high net worth individuals. Joyce has been the CPA for Margaret W. Wong & Associates, Co, LPA since inception. She has watched and aided the firm in its growth and expansion and maintained a deep relationship with Mrs. Wong and her entire family. Thus, the opportunity to become the CFO of the corporation was an easy step.
Kathy Hill is our General Manager and handles the human resources functions of the Firm.
Jing Huang is located at the reception area and answers phones, completes paperwork for cases and is fluent in Chinese and English.
Kimberley Hudson earned Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from Kent State University.
She assists by processing USCIS Mail, keeping clients informed about their cases by mailing notices to them that we have received. Also, running the staff and mail report, forwarding and receiving faxes and adding interview notices and court hearings to the calendar.
Yee Huie works in the Chicago office as an administrative assistant. She is fluent in Cantonese and English. She greets and provides client services to Chicago clients. Processes incoming and outgoing calls and taking messages if the party is unavailable. Providing company info to interested parties.
Hee Kam works in the Atlanta office as a case manager. She meets clients, helps work between lawyers and clients. She arranges appointments for Atlanta clients with Mrs. Wong. She speaks fluent in English and Korean.
Vicky Ko works in the reception area and handles client telephone calls, intake and is fluent in both Chinese and English.
Stella Lao works in our accounts receivable department.
Rita Loh works in the NY office. She assists our NY attorney and provides client services to our NY clients. She speaks Chinese and English.
Albion Manellari works closely with our deportation attorneys preparing different applications such as asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, petition for alien relative, removal of conditions, working authorization, among others. He helps the attorneys follow up Court cases. He has a Post Degree Certificate from Cuyahoga Community College, Major Paralegal Studies – ABA-Approved Program (2011). He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Albanian Legal Studies, Jurist, University of Tirana, Law School, Albania (2002). He is fluent in English, Albanian and Italian. Albion started working at the Firm in May 2011 after interning here from January-May 2011.
Brian Marek is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University where he obtained a BA in philosophy. Joining the Firm in 2002, he is employed as a paralegal. He works on non-immigrant petitions and visas such as H-1B’s and B-1/B-2 extensions. Brian also prepares and files N-400′s, US Passport applications, Permanent labor certifications, J-1 Waivers, I-601 Waivers and I-212 Applications.
Janvi Patel is a paralegal and works on family based and employment based cases.
Michael Patterson is responsible for business development and goes around to various ethnic festivals, chambers of commerce, and community events and talks to people about our firm and encourages them to come see us if they have a situation/problem/question dealing with immigration.
Grecia Robles is at our reception desk and also acts as a legal assistant and a translator.
Juliessa Roman is at our reception desk and acts as a legal assistant and translator aside from answering phones.
Leo Shipcka graduated with a BA in 2000 from the Baldwin Wallace College and obtained an MBA after graduating in 2004 from the Cleveland State University. He joined the firm in March 2005; Born in Tirana, Albania, Leo is fluent in both Albanian and English.
Cecilia Wong, MBA, is in the accounting department.
Chunli Wu works in the NY office and handles packet 3 and 4 cases and I-130′s. She is fluent in Chinese and English.
The founder and leader of our Chinese Group, Ms. Lily Ying joined Margaret Wong & Associates in 1991. She initiated our contacts with Chinese communities in the United States and has maintained those relationships over the years, ensuring that the immigration needs of our Asian clients are met. Ms. Ying is fluent in English, Mandarin and has a working knowledge of Taiwanese.
