The US Gov't has eliminated the US $50 reciprocal issuance fee for all nonimmigrant visas for Indian citizens.  This was effective November 9, 2006. 

On November 15, 2006 the Office of Foreign Labor Certification announced that, due to a technical issue, a number of cases were inadvertantly identified as pending PERM re-files and withdrawn from backlog.  The OFLC is working to correct this and to reinstate those cases by November 30, 2006.
